Reduce the daily distraction.

There can be some family issues going on which hinders your performance at your office. Or there might be some office drama making it hard for you to focus. So shut the door of your office, keep your phone on silent and just focus. Leave everything behind for a while and try concentrating in the present. This will not only reduce your distractions, but you will feel good at the end for a productive an efficient day.

Start small.

Goals are achieved when you take one step at a time. Jumping in the greed of achieving good in less time can lead to not being able to achieve anything. So, Start with smaller steps. Make a timeline and adhere to it. The small successes will encourage you to thrive for the bigger goal. It will also give you a clear path for the next step, and any set back will not lead to complete breakdown.

Get accountability from people in your life.

Sometimes, working in silence can help achieve big things. But to get started, you might need an outside motivation and encouragement. So, tell your friends about the new thing you are about to start. Discuss the plan and the progress and ask them to check up on you on a regular basis.
